Our School is an afternoon instructional program with classes from kindergarten through junior high school. The curriculum, aligned with the Standards of the Department of Greek Education of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, emphasizes a knowledge of both written and spoken Greek, as well as the study of ethnic culture, religious holidays, and feasts.
Additionally, our Parish has signed a contract with the learning platform Ellinopoula for our Greek Afternoon School. Through digital technology, children will learn Greek through educational videos, entertaining games, interactive exercises, and lessons. They will learn about Greek culture, Greek heritage, and their Greek identity. The platform includes lessons in mathematics, mythology, geography, and history. This digital technology will be in addition to our rich curriculum:
Kindergarten
For children aged 5. Children begin to learn and recognize the letters of the Greek alphabet from a young age. Children learn to create the first syllables, and they learn about the colors, the shapes, and the numbers through interactive games and videos. A friendship class full of energy and creativity.
Grades 1st through 8th
Students continue to learn to read and to write the most beautiful and interesting language in the world.They enrich their Greek vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, and listening through a combination of books ”Τα Ελληνικά μου”, ”Γειά χαρά”, ”KΛΙΚ”, interactive games, videos, and quizzes.

Faithful attendance at classes, completion of assignments in the workbooks, and use of the Ellinopoula platform help prepare students to take the Comprehensive Exam in Modern Greek (Regents). Parents are advised to confirm with any potential high schools whether the exam will carry any credit or exemption value toward the foreign language requirements. Students wishing to take the ELLINOMATHEA exams are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the process and take practice exams, which are provided at https://www.greek-language.gr/certification/index.html.
Parents must be Stewards of Holy Trinity – St. Nicholas GOC, for the current year, to enroll their children. You can find and fill out the Stewardship Pledge Form. Please fill out the Registration Form for the current year 2025-2026. The fees for this academic year are $300 per child, and you can Pay Online on the below button.
